The Power of Persistence: God’s Gift to You

Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid. Do not give up.”

(Joshua 8:1)

Your tenacity and determination may cause you to be labeled stubborn or hard-headed.  While it might not always seem like a gift, this character trait is a valuable asset that God has instilled in you for your particular journey.

When others may get discouraged or give up, you continue to persevere. You do not see quitting as an option. You find your greatest success comes from the simple practice of persistence.

You encounter seasons of struggle, but the difficulties never get inside your head. God has protected your mind with an unyielding resolve which enables you to resist both internal and external pressures.

There are times in your life when fear may seem to be the logical response. Other times, discouragement may cast its shadow across your path. But you have been designed by the Creator of the Universe and He has constructed you with a supernatural ability to withstand such forces.

Finding Clarity in God’s Expectations

Happy Birthday 12/28

   Mark 12:28
One of the teachers of the law came to Jesus. He saw that Jesus gave good answers to their questions, so he asked Jesus, “Which of the commands is most important?”

You recognize the clues to your destiny which come to you from Jesus. Your imagination is the canvass on which He paints the portrait of your future.  However, your spiritual journey of discovery often starts with more questions than answers.

Like the teachers of law in Jesus’ day, you have questions about the expectations of God. Rather than discussing them with other humans and risking heated arguments or controversy, you take your questions directly to the Source. You aren’t afraid to ask Jesus for reassurance and clarity…
