A Date With Destiny

Trailblazer – November 6

Judges 11:6
They told him, “Come, and lead us, so that we can fight the enemy.”

God is always in front of you, guiding the way, clearing a path, and leveling the field.

Much like the football player who receives a handoff and advances up the field on a path cleared by his teammates, you run with the destiny you’ve been given. You remain confident that angelic forces are blocking the opposition and opening a path to the goal line.

With a sure win in sight, your life is filled with first downs, goals, and extra points.

Eventually, when the clock runs out, and you leave the field, you will be met by your adoring fans from past generations who have been cheering you on.

Jesus will welcome you with a winning smile and enthusiastic praise for a game well played.

No Explanation Necessary

Some people were standing there and asked, “What are you doing? Why are you untying that colt?” Mark 11:5

Happy Birthday 11/5

You have a call on your life, and you have always known it. Others may not understand it, and some will ask why you do what you do.

You know that you have received specific instructions from the Lord about what He wants you to do.  You can’t explain it to others because you don’t really understand it yourself.

You are accustomed to hearing the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. You often adapt your plans or rearrange your schedule to accommodate this expression of God that resonates within your own spirit.  Sometimes His instructions are vague or segmented, and you must step out in faith, believing the rest of the plan will come when the moment is right. Yet, other times the instructions are laid out so simply and clearly, you know what you need to do in no uncertain terms.

When Jesus told the disciples to go get the colt, they couldn’t possibly have known His purpose or plan. They wouldn’t have been able to explain it to anyone else because they didn’t understand it themselves.

Therefore, Jesus gave them the perfect response to those who asked what and why.  They were to respond, “The Lord needs it.”

When you are following the inner voice of the Holy Spirit, others may question your purpose or your motives. Rather than offering explanations that might lead to confusion, you can simply report, “The Lord needs me to do this.”

You do not need to explain what Jesus asks of you or why He specifically selected you for the task.  You may not even understand it yourself, but that’s okay. All you know is the Lord has asked you to do it, and you have no intention of letting Him down.

The Sound of His Voice

1 Chronicles 11:2
The Lord your God spoke to you.

********

As you hear God’s words, your faith surges. Supernatural energy infuses you with a heavenly mindset.  As you focus your attention on Kingdom goals, you are simultaneously improving the world in which you reside.

In this way, you are living in two realms at once. You are a citizen of Heaven, and an ambassador of Christ. Your heart is set on things above, and your days are filled with bringing heaven to earth.

The spiritual sound waves of that still small voice within, creates melody in your mind and harmony in your heart. This music of heaven shifts your gaze away from human struggles and toward the throne room of your King.

You are able to enjoy the presence and comfort of God, while existing in a finite dimension. You reap the benefits of a dual reality where His Kingdom is as real to you as the world in which you live.

Purpose

I tell you, do not worry. Don’t worry about your life and what you will eat or drink. And don’t worry about your body and what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than eating? Aren’t there more important things for the body than clothes? Matthew 6:25

********

In the passage Jesus is telling the crowds that there is much more to their lives than the clothes they wear or the food they eat.

What is this MORE he was talking about? Perhaps it is true satisfaction and purpose.

Each of us has a MORE in our divine DNA. It is the unique effect we were designed to deliver to this earthly planet. It is the portion of the Kingdom that we each bring to earth during the years we spend here. The ‘more’ Jesus spoke of are the blessings we give, the encouragement we offer, the mentorship we provide, and the miracles we perform.

We realize that if we continue to focus on these Kingdom matters, we can level up to a life of satisfaction and contentment. God takes care of our needs, and we expand His Kingdom.

It is a win-win.

You believe that God provides spiritual vision to those who seek His wisdom. This supernatural perception allows you to see clues and insights that you might otherwise have missed.

Through specific life events, your spiritual intuition has been fine-tuned. You enjoy insights and awareness which extend beyond natural human perception.

It is quite possible that many of the lives you touch and the wisdom you share will prove to alter the course of history for generations to come.

In detailed, methodical steps, God is bringing you to new levels of understanding. Each day, you gain clarity and vision into your divine destiny.

Little by little, you discover your true purpose and become more comfortable with your place in His Kingdom. You are learning that your position in His family comes with a deep sense of responsibility.

You see a hurting world around you, yet you also see the heart of God which seeks to deliver the light of His wisdom to anyone who is tired of stumbling through life in the dark.

Many of God’s children remain unable to walk in the light of God’s wisdom, but they can see His light shining through you.

You see Jesus at work, even when you feel surrounded by darkness. You are confident that His light will always appear to guide and protect your path.

You see Jesus, loyal and devoted, taking care of your past, present, and future.

You know He has appeared in some of your darkest hours, and you have no doubt He will always be there beside you, even when your vision of Him is obscured by conflict, anxiety, or confusion.

Jesus has always been there in your peripheral view. From early childhood, you have sensed a supernatural bond between yourself and the Divine.

Your spiritual perception becomes clearer as you peel back the layers of doubt. Through this process, you are beginning to see that Jesus’ vision of you is much more remarkable than anything you’ve seen in yourself.  And His vision for your future far exceeds anything you might have ever imagined for yourself.

Praise

You should praise him. He is your God. He has done great and wonderful things for you. You have seen them with your own eyes. Deuteronomy 10:21

**********************

You have been called by God and down deep, you have always known it.

Your destiny will involve many different seasons. It will take on a variety of forms as you move through your allotted time on this planet.

Embedded in the foundation of your spiritual core is an interlocking system consisting of a perfect blend of praise and gratitude.

You are grateful for the peace that replaces discord in your thoughts. You remain ever mindful that gratitude and praise are powerful deterrents to discontentment.

Your gratitude for the things God has done for you is revealed by the enthusiastic way you talk about Him.

You love to get together with friends and family who have this same sense of appreciation for the work of God in their own lives as well.

You love to share stories of miracles and mercy. You openly tell of the times that God has showered you with comfort and compassion during times of great difficulty.

You also enjoy hearing others talk about what God is doing in their lives. You adore being surrounded by people who openly express their gratitude for the blessings of God. On the other hand, you find it tedious and exhausting to be around complainers. You know that a very high level of toxicity is contained within a complaint so you combat its effects with the purposeful practice of praise.
