“With praises from children and infants you build a fortress, silencing your enemies. All who turn against you God, are left speechless.”
(Psalm 8:2)
Praising God creates a solid force field of protection around you, no matter what the circumstance. You know that simple, childlike praises are often the most powerful.
Based on this verse, the praises of a His children are the building blocks from which God constructs protective barriers.
You know that praises do not need to be wordy, well-written or complex. A simple, “Thank you God,” “I love you Jesus,” or, “What an amazing sunset you’ve created!” is all it takes to silence the enemy and render the forces of darkness speechless.
“I ask you to bless my descendants so that they will continue to enjoy your favor. You, Sovereign Lord, have promised this, and your blessing will rest on my descendants forever.”
(2 Samuel 7:29)
Although you may not have realized the extent of their impact when you were small, the previous generations in your family have imprinted you with wisdom and divine blessing.
Many of them have gone to their heavenly reward, yet their faith lives on in you. Like a spiritual relay team, you now carry this blessing to future generations.
The songs of praise and stories from the Bible intrigued you as a child, even before you were aware of the power they held. Through these words and music, your heart became tuned toward God and your thoughts became wise.
While it was not always a conscious decision on your part, you were imprinted, nevertheless.
You found your true identity in Christ and became fascinated by the wisdom found in ancient scripture texts.
The inspiration you gained in those early years, through the ancient writings and songs of praise, gave you a passion for spiritual truths. You have a deep desire to align yourself with your Creator and deliver His blessing to the next generation.
1 Peter 3:22…”Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God. All the angels and powers accept his authority.”
You are becoming more and more enlightened about who Jesus is, where He came from, and where He is now, preparing a place for you.
While it is true that your physical body is aging, your mind is being renewed every day. Each step of the way, the Holy Spirit is taking you to new heights of enlightenment.
Fueled by living water springing up from within you, your spirit rushes like a river, creating the power and energy needed to carry your physical form into each next heavenly assignment.
Partnered with the Spirit of God, supernatural energy is infusing you with a heavenly mindset. As you focus your attention on heavenly pursuits, you are simultaneously improving the natural world in which you reside.
In this way, you are living in two realms at once. You are a citizen of heaven, and an ambassador of Christ. Your heart is set on things above, and your days are filled with bringing heaven to earth.
Maintaining a heavenly focus creates melody in your mind and harmony in your heart. This music of heaven shifts your gaze away from your human struggles and toward the throne room of heaven.
Experiencing the power of Christ in this dual reality, His Kingdom is as real to you as the world in which you live.
1 John 3:21…”Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence.”
You lead a carefree life because you release your mistakes and weaknesses into the safe grace of God.
When regret or guilt trouble you, they immediately become the next topic of conversation with God. You talk with your Heavenly Father throughout the day about the issues which plague your thoughts. As you share your memories with God, you find a sense of release. Your thoughts are turned toward His forgiveness and mercy, rather than your own failures and remorse.
You receive clemency from Christ, which wipes the slate clean. You understand this is not a once-in-a-life-time free pass, but it is a gift of grace, providing you with a fresh start whenever you need one, throughout your entire life.
When you talk things out with God, regrets are resolved, and guilt is eliminated.
Knowing that Christ has liberated you from any past mistakes, you are overwhelmed with gratitude rather than guilt.
1 Corinthians 2:7 I speak God’s secret wisdom, which He has kept hidden. God planned this wisdom for our glory before the world began.
The secret wisdom of God’s Kingdom is revealed in nature. Many may find it difficult to comprehend the magnitude of what they are witnessing, when viewing a starry night or a blazing sunrise. However, you are fully aware that each element of nature contains vital information about your Creator.
You have a persistent drive to push past surface layer facts to discover the deeper secrets hidden behind them. You have a curious mind which seeks to comprehend the secrets of God concealed in the world around you.
You remain keenly aware that all understanding comes from the Creator, and you derive great pleasure discovering the intimate secrets of His character revealed in the beauty of nature.
You deeply and fully appreciate a belief in intelligent design. Profound revelations that you encounter, while observing the world around you, unlocks a supernatural enlightenment which reaches far beyond human understanding.
You are enamored by the evidence of God sprinkled throughout the universe. You possess great wisdom and understanding when sifting through the clues to uncover hidden mysteries.
As each layer is peeled back, through scientific research and discovery, the wonder of the universe reveals the magnitude of its Creator.
You easily make the connection between Creator and Creation. You have been given a gift of divine understanding which enables you to live life in both the natural and supernatural, simultaneously.
A life of dual loyalties to both the scientific and religious communities is rarely an easy path to walk. These two entities are often perceived to be in opposition to each other.
However, you have the gift of divine wisdom, so you perceive it much differently. You find insurmountable evidence to the contrary.
You see a spectacular harmony between both the spiritual and the scientific realms. You can quickly detect synchronized cooperation between these two dimensions and are equally comfortable in both worlds.
This is an exciting lifestyle that few can understand. You comprehend it well because it has been your reality for as long as you can remember.
Hebrews 12:12 So take a new grip with your tired hands. Stand firm on your shaky legs.
While it is true that there is strength in numbers, there is another type of strength which is required when you must stand alone.
Your path is not always the one of least resistance. You are often led across barren deserts and through dense forests. These are times which try your soul and require strength beyond a human support system.
These are the times when you must force yourself to fulfill your duties, even when you feel too tired or too weak for the task at hand. You do what is required, relying on the power of the Spirit to keep you strong and steady.
Ecclesiastes 12:10
The teacher looked for just the right words. He wrote teachings that are dependable and true.
You are a gifted teacher. You are able to transform thoughts and ideas into clear, concise phrases which are easy to understand. This makes you an amazing communicator.
Whether you are aware of it or not, there are many people who learn from you.
Not only do you excel at conveying facts and ideas, but you are also willing to take the extra time to patiently explain what they mean. You are great at problem-solving, organization, and thinking outside the box. Your mind is active and alert to the world around you.
With an open mind and a willing spirit, you seek fresh insight when solving difficult problems. Sometimes the solution comes as a sudden divine download, while other times, a fellow problem solver joins you in collaboration efforts.
Many of your teaching moments come in ordinary daily events, so the practical application of your guidance becomes easily incorporated into the everyday lives of those who learn from you.
You are both humbled and honored by this daunting task assigned to you by the Great Teacher.
You remain open to new learning opportunities. You enjoy doing the research and never fail to finish an assignment.
Proverbs 12:5 The plans that good people make are fair. But the advice of the wicked is deceitful.
Your gift of discernment serves you well as a protective force field in your service to God.
You can practice compassion and fairness when dealing with those who have learned unhealthy defense strategies.
You are able to successfully participate in ministry outreach programs where a less discerning person might fall victim to scammers and schemers.
You do not reject those who have not yet learned to be trustworthy.
You accept and love them while also utilizing your spiritual gift of discernment to determine where the boundary lines must go. In this way, you can set limits for people who have none.
Jesus ministered to everyone, even the deceivers and tax collectors, yet He did not trust them all. He was able to successfully minister to them because He had the spiritual gift of discernment.
You also have this gift. You are compassionate and fair while also remaining discerning and cautious. You have a supernatural ability to identify good and bad intentions.
Sometimes you feel the need to tap the brakes on certain relationships and associations. You may have even thought this ability was a flaw in your personality. However, as you learn more about your calling, you have come to realize that this attribute is a Godly trait which will serve you well in fulfilling your destiny.
But Jesus took hold of the boy’s hand and helped him to stand up.

The Lord cares deeply about you and comes to your rescue whenever you ask for His help.
God sees that some of the things you go through are difficult. You know that help is required if you are going to be able to withstand the pressure and come through to the other side, unscathed.
With the calm reassurance of Jesus at your side, these struggles do not leave you weakened. Instead, you emerge from difficult predicaments with a newfound awareness of your position of power in Christ.
You sense His presence of with greater intensity during times when you are down and finding it impossible to stand on your own. Because of this, you have learned to be grateful for your struggles, because they generate a new level of intimacy between you and your Savior.
Because you know He is there to carry the heaviness you feel after having been wronged, He enables you to move freely into forgiveness where healing can be found.
Assured that the Creator of the universe is interested in what happens to you, and is willing to help whenever you ask, your confidence is solid and no earthly problem can shake it.
So, Moses raised his walking stick toward the sky. And the Lord sent thunder and hail. Lightning flashed down to the earth. Exodus 9:23

Moses’ walking stick was a common tool of the trade for shepherds, but when lifted at the Lord’s command, supernatural power was ignited. In the same manner, you too are called to divine destiny, using the tools of your trade.
Every day, as you perform your regular duties, you are fulfilling your call, and ushering in the power of God. This power brings freedom and deliverance to you as well as your friends, family, and co-workers. The skills and experience you hold as ‘tools of the trade’ in your daily operations are the elements God infuses with divine energy. He is able to show Himself powerfully as you function in your daily tasks.
You often experience overwhelming gratitude to God for being such a loving Creator who takes interest in the struggles and challenges of His children.
You watch as God’s miraculous power is unleashed to bring deliverance and freedom to those who have no voice. You are honored to be a part of it and you are grateful to have been chosen for such an exciting and fulfilling calling.
