“Present your offering to the Lord with your own hands as a special gift to Him.“
(Leviticus 7:30)
Rather than sacrificial offerings that were required under the Old Covenant, the New Covenant calls for a lifestyle of self-sacrifice, which is the greatest offering you can give to God.
As needs arise in your community, you demonstrate a sacrificial mindset by feeding the poor, helping the needy, counseling the troubled, and assisting the disabled or elderly.
Obedience to the teaching of Christ may not always be easy, but you know it is the only way to live an abundant life, free from resentment and unforgiveness.
Your sacrifices of time, energy, money, and talents to help others are actually offerings to the Lord, because as Jesus explained, what you do for the ‘least of these’ you have done for Him.
